He he he. Hence, PK “Star Storm”. Look at all the little guys trying to escape. As the storm continues, more and more stars come crashing down at once. Apparently it is most effective during the smaller stages.

Brawl Character Costumes

November 21, 2007

Sakurai has announced some really cool costume changes that are to be in Brawl. People have been talking about Dark Link for awhile, but now we get a close up look. Also, Samus’ Fusion Suit, Dark Fox, and Dark Pit. And a cool Zelda costume. Oh, and Yeti DK.

Ice Climbers’ Final Smash

November 19, 2007

The Ice Climbers’ Final Smash is called Iceberg. After grabbing a Smash Ball, you can activate the move. Popo and Nana grab hands, and the Iceberg appears.

Big iceberg, huh?

The Iceberg makes the stage slippery and damages opponents. Another reason to give the Ice Climbers another try in Super Smash Bros Brawl.

Alone in the Dark to be on the Wii, PS2

November 13, 2007

Atari has announced the Wii and PS2 versions of Alone in the Dark, a game that was originally scheduled for release next February for the Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and the PC.

Alone in the Dark is a survival horror action game, where the player must make it through the night as unleashed creatures prowl New York City’s Central Park. In the game the protagonist must make use of every item available to him (glow sticks, paint canisters, tape etc.), and can view them by opening his jacket and examining the pockets. Item combination should make the game more interactive as, for instance, you can either crack a glow stick and carry it to light the way or combine it with some tape and throw it so sticks to a wall, illuminating the surrounding area.

When it comes to combat, the simplest approach is to grab a nearby object, like a chair or pipe, and wield it. However, you can also combine matches and canisters with flammable liquid for a make-shift flamethrower. Some enemies are attracted to blood, so shooting a nearby corpse can help as a distraction. Also, you can attatch tape to blood pouches, slit them open and toss them at an enemy, to make them turn on each other.

I like it.

The release dates for the Wii and PS2 versions have not yet been revealed, nor has the game yet been rated.

He joins as a member of the heavy-weight class alongside Bowser and Donkey Kong. Can he defeat Kirby?” We’ll see.

okami.jpg Capcom has announced the Wii port of the Playstation 2 game, Okami. The project will be handled by Ready at Dawn, the developer behind the PSP games Daxter, and God of War: Chains of Olympus.

The port will make use of the Wii’s motion-sensing controller, especially when players are using Amaterasu’s celestial brush. The Wii version of Okami is scheduled for release in spring 2008. Wii owners who missed this hit Action Adventure game on the ps2 should watch and see how this turns out.
